Dr. Lucky Sekhon
Dr. Lucky Sekhon is a double board certified REI based in New York City. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, she completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, MD at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and then moved to NYC to complete her OB/GYN residency training Mt. Sinai Hospital.
At age 34, she underwent IVF for the purpose of freezing embryos to preserve her ability to continue to build a family in the future. As a reproductive-aged woman who, like so many others, waited to have kids in pursuit of her career goals, Dr. Lucky Sekhon is passionate about spreading awareness about reproductive health. She empowers women with evidenced based information on their fertility. Going through fertility treatment and the experience of being pregnant and postpartum has made Lucky Sekhon a better doctor with a clear understanding of what information is most helpful to women at various stages of their reproductive life. Unfortunately, there tends to be a lot of misinformation out here. Her mission as a fertility doctor stepping into the blogsphere is to provide women with practical, accurate information.
With evidence-based, accessible explanations and a voice that feels like a trusted ally, Dr. Lucky empowers audiences with the knowledge they need to make confident decisions. She has become a trusted voice in women’s health and fertility, featured in major media outlets, and has built a platform dedicated to closing the fertility knowledge gap. As a speaker, she combines medical expertise with compassion and storytelling to make science meaningful and accessible for every audience. You can also find Dr. Lucky on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
