Mignon Fogarty is a technical writer, entrepreneur, best-selling author, and the writer of “Grammar Girl” for the Quick and Dirty Tips podcast. She has served as an editor and producer at a number of health and science Web sites. Fogarty is the author of numerous grammar books, providing tips and rules for writers and students. In April 2014, Grammar Girl’s web site was selected as one of the 101 Best Websites for Writers by Writer’s Digest magazine. Fogarty has a B.A. in English from the University of Washington in Seattle and an M.S. in biology from Stanford University.  She lives in Reno, Nevada.
