"He was tremendous—engaging and funny. In the seven years I’ve been running the series I can’t remember so many in the audience being so familiar with an author’s work."
- — Jim Natal, The Literary Southwest at Yavapai College
"I thought things went really well with CJ Box this weekend. His 10 a.m. solo session was well-attended…and his noon luncheon was sold out at 120 people, with a LONG line for him at the book signing that followed. We were so pleased to host him in Sioux Falls, so his 'East River South Dakota' fans had a chance to meet him in person! And we’d love to have him back next year!"
- — Jennifer Widman, South Dakota Humanities Council
"The event was terrific. Our Friends group, who sponsored the event and the reception, were beyond pleased. He was as nice and personable as could be, answered a ton of questions, did a book signing both before and after. The program evaluations all had comments about how much they enjoyed it and how funny he was."
- — Jennifer Shepley, Chesterfield County Public Library
"C.J. was AWESOME!! We (and all our patrons!) had a wonderful time. He was funny, personable, a delightful storyteller and a great presenter...and he was enthusiastically received. He signed LOTS of books and was always patient while he listened to many stories from his fans."
- — Heather Stout, Community / Youth Services Librarian, Lewiston City Library
"It was indeed a fabulous evening. C.J. has tons of local fans and his talk engaged everyone. It was such a pleasure to have him in Steamboat Springs."
- — Jennie Lay, Adult Programs Coordinator, Bud Werner Memorial Library, Steamboat Springs, CO
"He is a wonderful, gracious person and was completely endearing to his fans. We had people who drove 200 miles to meet him—a four-hour hilly, curvy trip. He had time for everyone. He brought in over 100 festival attendees to his presentation which was the largest crowd we had for any one speaker all afternoon. In short, Arkansas LOVES C.J. Box!"
- — Jean Elderwind, Administrator, Carroll and Madison Library System
"It was an amazing event! For our first author talk, we could not have done better. People just ate CJ up. He is such a class act, gracious to everyone."
- — Windsor Library
"He was absolutely wonderful! Everyone enjoyed him a lot. We received nothing but positive feedback on the event. The participants found Chuck to be very engaging, open, personable, and everything they had imagined he would be!"
- — Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County
