Topics : Global Affairs, Legal Affairs, Economics & Finance
Travels From : New York

Jeffrey Robinson is the international best-selling author of more than two dozen books, both fiction and non-fiction.  His newest book, The Takedown, is his fifth investigative true crime exposé centered on a real-life Law & Order case.  Mr. Robinson has avidly maintained a reputation for the past 15 years as a prominent expert on organized crime and upheld the title given by the British Bankers' Association as “the world’s most important financial crime author.”

In his ground-breaking non-fiction, The Laundrymen, he uncovers the true extent of global money laundering and reveals how billions of dirty dollars—acquired largely from the drug trade—are reinvested throughout the world by otherwise legitimate businessmen, lawyers, and bankers.  This work, still considered the definitive book on the subject and used in universities and law schools as a text, established him as a known expert on fraud and money laundering.  Among his array of significant titles, he also wrote three major best-selling biographies including Rainier & Grace, Bardot- Two Lives, and Yamani- The Inside Story—described by the Wall Street Journal as the best book written on the oil industry.  Aside from his successful track as an author, Robinson has a wide-ranging history in the media as a writer for television and radio as well as a journalist and short story writer, before and during his position as an officer in the United States Air Force.  He lives in New York with his family and commutes to London on a monthly basis.
